About Alex Vega

Born in 1992 and raised in the Carolinas, Alex has always been a creative, energetic person. They began exploring sports, theatre, performative extracurriculars in their youth, and played most every sport available. Never one to turn down getting down in the dirt and playing hard. Many years were spent engaging in athletics, as well as performing in competitive events in martial arts, dance, and surfing.Alex began their acting training in middle school, pursuing courses such as drama, choir, band, and a year-long college theatre course in high school. Writing and arts were a key focus in their upbringing.As an adult, they spent a term in the US Air Force, but underwent physical and mental events that led to being considered disabled. Even so, nothing will become a barrier.Alex delved into online streaming as a character persona, and then via face in 2021. This led to dabbling in voice work practice, and mock auditioning in theatre and audio environments.In 2023 onward, they took professional film acting courses in The Actor's Group and The Mocap Vaults, while honing skills in yoga and voiceover."I'm done getting in my own way. I get to start over. To be the person I want to be, not what someone else made me to be. Gaining autonomy and taking control of my own life to explore my passions has been such a rewarding experience."
